Marie-Hélène Morell is a bilingual producer and artist who divides her time between working on film projects and developing her fibre art practice - while juggling parenting three children with her husband of 17 years!
She loves taking all the pieces of a project and making it come together in a harmonious whole. Marie-Hélène is skilled in managing people and keeping many details organized, which makes her a great addition to the Dia de los Muertos team!

Fabiola Martinez
Executive Director

Fabiola Martinez, originally from Queretaro Mexico, is a professional artist with a degree in Architecture based in New Brunswick. Her artwork shows the beauty created when cultures blend. Fabiola’s work has an international presence and has been exhibited in art centers, galleries, Museums, and public art installations. She is passionate about her community and art education.
Fabi is the founder and owner of De las Artes School for Visual Arts and serves on the board of directors for the Canadian Craft Federation, representing New Brunswick, as well as art coordinator for the Saint John Memorial Cup. She is a vibrant, passionate artist with many gifts to share and intends to assist in bringing community together and embracing cultural diversity.

Connie Culligan
Volunteer Coordinator

Connie is an educator with Anglophone School District - South, adventure enthusiast and self-proclaimed foodie. Passions include health and wellness, staying active and she thrives through volunteerism and offering community support.
She volunteers regularly as a member of the Uniquely Abled CrossFit Quispamsis group - a position that she takes great pride in.
She looks forward to being a member of the Dia de los Muertos team.

Ana Paula Jreige

Ana Paula Jreige is thrilled to be part of this year’s Day of the Dead celebration in Saint John! She enjoys sculpting figures out of clay, painting on anything she can find, and experimenting with different materials to bring her inner world to life.
As an emerging artist, much of her inspiration comes from her Mexican roots, and sharing that part of herself with Canadians is a truly exciting opportunity. Ana Paula has always loved community projects and the sense of unity they bring, working on a team means sharing both the challenges and the successes, and ultimately, celebrating together.
In her new role, she hopes to inspire that same spirit in others and to help more people learn about the richness of Mexican culture through the arts. It’s an honour for her to help bring this year’s festival to life!

Erica owns Post Road Marketing, specializing in marketing and strategic communication. Her ability to craft clear, impactful messages has propelled over 100 businesses to new heights.
Beyond her role as a consultant, Erica is deeply committed to her community, offering customized training workshops for organizations such as Learnsphere and Women in Business New Brunswick. Her work reflects not only a passion for business growth but also a dedication to fostering community engagement and innovation.
